General anesthesia is required for all procedures we do. We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older and/or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient’s vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures to include; heart rate, SPO2 (oxygen levels in the blood), blood pressure, ETCO2 (carbon dioxide levels), respiratory rate and temperature. Anesthetic procedures are monitored by a licensed veterinary technician and a certified veterinary assistant.
