Office Manager, LVT Student
Cristal, our Office Manager, is attending school to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician and hopes to utilize her experience at ADC in achieving that goal. Always an avid animal lover, she studied zoology before working in the infant section of a local zoo. She studied Rufus Naped Tamarins for two years while living in Panama with her husband, a soldier. For more than 30 years Cristal has worked with numerous horse breeds but especially enjoys Miniature Horses. She currently owns five that she hopes to show in breed registry shows. She has been competing in Miniature Horse shows since 1988 and has spoken on the topic many times. She is also a carded judge for the World Class Miniature Horse Registry and helps new owners by leading training seminars and one-on-one training sessions.

Cristal, her husband, and two children are originally from NY but have moved around the country during his military career. In addition to her horses – Danny, Brittany, Sneakers, Sarge, and Goldie – she shares her home with her dogs Ella, Chewie, and Finley and her cats Doughal and Sweetpea.

In her free time, Kourtney enjoys hiking, video gaming, and just hanging out with her husband, Jimmy, and their Corgi mix, Reagan.

Senior Animal Assistant, LVT Student
Antel has been working in the field of veterinary medicine for the past 15 years, since graduating from Tuskegee University with a B.S. in Animal Science. She was led to this field by her passion to care for pets when their pet-parents are unable to. More than half of her career was spent in emergency medicine where she worked in the intensive care unit. After getting married and starting a family 6 years ago, Antel needed a slightly slower pace and returned to general practice. When she’s not caring for pets at work, she can be found enjoying the outdoors with her 2 fur-babies, husband, and 3-year old son.
